Job summary

Arup is seeking a Project Manager to join our Flood Risk Management team, with roles based in Birmingham, Nottingham, Cardiff or Bristol. You will support the delivery of flood risk, climate resilience and infrastructure projects, working with Project Directors and technical specialists to deliver high standards and safe delivery.

You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from planning and governance to stakeholder engagement, while developing client-facing delivery experience across

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, engineering, environmental or consultancy.
• Understanding of project planning, budgets, programmes, risk and project controls.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Microsoft Project is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of flood risk, climate resilience and wider infrastructure projects.
• Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle: planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and project controls.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
