We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Flood Risk Management team, based in Birmingham, with potential multiple locations including Nottingham, Cardiff or Bristol, to contribute to a variety of flood risk, climate resilience and infrastructure projects.

You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, supporting planning, governance, budgets, risk management

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, engineering, environmental or consultancy.
  • Understanding of project planning, budgets, programmes, risk and project controls.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of change management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Microsoft Project is desirable.
  • Interest in flood risk, water, climate resilience or infrastructure.
  • Working towards or holding APM, CIWEM, ICE, PMI or equivalent membership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of flood risk, climate resilience and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely and to a high standard.
  • Assist with project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and project controls.
