Job summary

Tai Pawb in Monmouthshire is seeking two full-time Floating Support Workers to join our Floating Support Service. You will visit clients in their homes, build trust, and help people live as independently as possible.

You’ll manage your own caseload, develop support plans, and work closely with housing and partner agencies to prevent homelessness and promote stability in the community. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role requiring commitment, flexibility, and a person-centred, compassionate

Qualifications

• Driving licence and access to a car.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, empathetic approach to supporting people.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their homes across Monmouthshire.
• Build trusted relationships and agree clear, achievable goals.
• Create support plans and complete risk assessments.
• Provide budgeting, benefits, health, housing and tenancy advice.
• Help address rent arrears and access grants.
• Collaborate with Housing Options and partner agencies.
• Signpost to specialist services and attend key appointments as needed.
