Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Epping, Essex, in flexible, varied school settings. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist with lessons, and help maintain calm, structure and positivity throughout the day.

Ideal candidates bring experience with children or young people, a friendly and adaptable attitude, and a passion for helping students succeed in primary, secondary and early years environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is ideal but not essential).
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day.
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments.
