Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary, secondary and early years settings in Billericay and throughout Essex. The role offers flexible days to fit around your life and weekly pay.

You will assist with classroom tasks, support learning 1:1 or in small groups, and help create a calm, structured environment. Previous childcare experience is welcome; training and ongoing consultant support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is ideal but not essential)
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
