Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Chelmsford and Essex. Enjoy flexible, part-time or full-time opportunities, with weekly pay and the chance to gain experience in primary, secondary and early years settings.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers with lessons, and help create a calm, structured learning environment while supporting pupils with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments
