Job summary

Leeds Marriott Hotel is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Conference & Events Associates to join our team. You will help set up conference rooms, welcome guests and assist with catering during events, ensuring every function runs smoothly.

This casual role offers flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with training provided. You’ll work closely with the Conference & Events, Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams to deliver memorable experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, events or F&B experience is advantageous but training is provided.
• Positive, enthusiastic and approachable personality.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Organised with attention to detail in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and preparation of conference rooms and event spaces.
• Ensure spaces are presented to high standards before, during and after events.
• Welcome guests and delegates with warm, professional service.
• Support delivery of food and beverage services during events.
• Serve refreshments, lunches and drinks, attending to guests' needs.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across conference and event areas.
• Work with Conference & Events, Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams for seamless delivery.
• Assist with room turnarounds and resetting spaces efficiently.
• Follow health and safety procedures and hotel policies.
