Job summary

Convene Conference & Events Assistant in Manchester offers flexible shifts within our Client Support Team. You will greet clients, support food & beverage service, and coordinate with culinary, production and technology teams to ensure memorable experiences.

We value strong communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well with others. Most shifts are Monday–Friday with occasional evenings, and there is opportunity for progression as you grow with Convene.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated and ready to lead other team members.
• Flexible and able to work long hours when required.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with enthusiasm and maintain a warm demeanor.
• Provide world-class service and adhere to brand standards.
• Set up, replenish, and breakdown food and beverage stations.
• Read and execute Program Execution Orders and checklists.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Attend staff briefings and company events.
• Support cloakroom tasks and assist with ad hoc duties.
