Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, via Restaurant Associates, seeks dedicated Event Staff in Leeds on a permanent casual basis (0 hours per week). You will support busy events at the Royal Armouries, delivering high standards of service and guest experience across standing, dining and bar operations.

Shifts are variable, with most events on Thursdays to Saturdays. Benefits include staff meals, weekly pay, supportive team, and transferable skills in events and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, catering, or events.
• Aged 18 or older due to licensing requirements.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with event set-up and break-down
• Greeting and directing guests
• Providing food and beverage service
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar
• Cleaning duties in service areas and event spaces
• Supporting the smooth running of Christmas parties and other seasonal events
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
