You will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage behavior, and help maintain a positive learning environment across multiple schools in the Barnsley area. A flexible, professional approach and the ability to travel between sites are important.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence leading a classroom independently.
• Flexible, professional and positive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to travel to schools across the Barnsley area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of secondary subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour and lesson outcomes.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments and year groups.
