Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisors to work in Worksop and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, keeping students engaged and on task while following prepared lessons.

You will gain experience across multiple local secondary schools with ongoing support from your Tradewind consultant and access to CPD and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in educational settings is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and instructions accurately.
• Reliable and professional manner with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in a classroom when the regular teacher is absent.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure completion of work.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour.
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and incidents.
