Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join the Guildford cluster, covering Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Camberley, Aldershot, Fleet and surrounding areas. You’ll work in a flexible shift pattern between 06:00 and 02:00, with 40 hours on average per week and a fully equipped RAC van to support your roadside duties.

You’ll need either an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, plus a full UK driving licence

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with full UK driving licence (less than 6 points)
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside assistance across local area
• Diagnose and repair faults on site and return members to the road
• Manage personal kit, van stock, and reporting with accuracy
