Job summary

RAC is looking for a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join our Guildford cluster. You’ll provide flexible, on-demand roadside support across local areas, working around the clock hours to get members back on the road.

You’ll need an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, 2+ years of experience, and a clean UK licence. Expect a competitive package with development opportunities and the RAC van, tools, and kit supplied.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside assistance to RAC members and diagnose faults on-site.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance at the roadside, delivering a first-time fix where possible.
• Manage your own toolkit and vehicle and keep accurate reports of each call-out.
