Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join the Guildford cluster. You’ll cover areas like Guildford, Woking, Farnham, and surrounding towns, with a typical 40-hour week and shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including weekends and holidays.

You’ll need an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or 5+ years as a vehicle technician, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points. RAC provides a van, tools, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults on roadside in the Guildford cluster area
• Manage your own kit, van stock, and reports with precision
• Read situations to determine the right fix and support members on call
