Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join our Guildford cluster and support members across Guildford, Woking, and surrounding areas. You’ll operate from a RAC van, perform quick diagnostics, and complete repairs on the roadside to keep drivers moving.

Shifts run across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on delivering excellent service. A full UK licence and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside assistance to RAC members and get them back on the road.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on-site.
• Manage your own toolkit and keep the RAC van stocked for daily use.
• Accurately report calls and maintain vehicle and equipment logs.
