Job summary

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN Distribution) in Inverness seeks a Project Manager/Engineer to lead the development and execution of regional projects. You will coordinate multiple projects, manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder engagement across the Highland area.

The role requires travel, driving licence and willingness to progress LV & HV operational authorisations. A company car or travel support is available under policy, with flexible-first options and broader employee

Qualifications

Experience creating project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
Ability to deliver on deadlines within budget and quality targets.
Proficient with Excel and MS Project.
Familiarity with regulated industries, electricity or utilities preferred.
Experience in governance processes and CDM regulations.
HV network knowledge is beneficial with training provided.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prioritise project outcomes across multiple projects in the Highland area.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.
Assist clients and delivery teams, attend site meetings as required.
Identify improvements to increase profitability and collaboration through excellent customer service.
Support delivery managers to implement Safety Management Systems and governance.
