Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking reliable Primary Supply Teachers to support local primary schools across Kettering, Corby and surrounding areas. This flexible supply role offers competitive daily pay (£150-£175) and opportunities to work across different year groups, with QTS essential and own transport preferred.

You will cover day-to-day and short-term classroom needs, follow National Curriculum, maintain positive learning environments, and build relationships with school staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• A full driving licence and access to own vehicle – essential.
• Availability to work across Monday to Friday.
• Willingness to travel between Kettering, Corby and nearby areas.
• Experience in primary teaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across primary age ranges in line with the National Curriculum.
• Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt to different school settings, year groups and pupil needs.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence and wellbeing.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and a love of learning.
• Work professionally with teaching staff and school leadership teams.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements.
