Job summary

Locums First is recruiting Locum Healthcare Assistants for Shipley and surrounding areas. This role offers fully flexible sessions across community clinics, GP surgeries and broader primary care services, allowing you to pick shifts that fit your experience and weekly availability.

You will support patient assessments, perform routine clinical tasks, and help maintain an efficient clinic environment with clear guidance and smooth day-to-day workflows for all staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conducting basic patient observations including BP, pulse and temperature.
• Supporting routine treatment room procedures.
• Carrying out ECGs and basic health checks.
• Performing phlebotomy if trained.
