Locums First is seeking a Locum Healthcare Assistant to work in Brandon across local primary care services. You will perform routine observations, assist in treatment rooms, and contribute to clinic flow with clear guidance and structured workflows.

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills desirable.
• Ability to perform clinical observations confidently.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Adaptability across different primary care environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient observations such as BP, pulse and temperature.
• Supporting treatment room procedures under clinical supervision.
• Conducting ECGs and basic health checks.
• Assisting with phlebotomy if trained.
• Providing lifestyle advice and basic patient education.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supporting clinicians with general duties where needed.
