Job summary

Locums First in Henley-In-Arden is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to support local primary care services. Flexible sessions and ad-hoc bookings allow you to choose shifts that fit your availability.

You will perform routine observations and assist in treatment rooms, with strong patient-facing skills vital. You will work with GP practices and community services, completing ECGs, phlebotomy if trained, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation while maintaining high standards of patient

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills desirable.
• Ability to perform clinical observations confidently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient observations such as BP, pulse and temperature.
• Support treatment room procedures under clinical supervision.
• Conduct ECGs and basic health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy if trained.
• Provide lifestyle advice and basic patient education.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support clinicians with general duties where needed.
