Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers (temporary). You will deliver letters and parcels along your round, combining on-foot and van-based work to serve the community.

Shifts vary and we offer multiple pay rates by shift. A driving licence with up to 6 points is required, and you should be prepared to pass a driving assessment on start. Opportunities for permanent roles may arise.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full UK manual licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: able to walk 20,000 steps/day and handle a 16 kg mailbag.
• Flexibility: shifts can vary; you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route, mostly by foot and by van.
• Ensure secure delivery of all items and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with standards.
