Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels across your route, walking and driving as needed, and represent Royal Mail in the community with a focus on reliable service.

Roles are temporary with varied shifts; driving a van and walking large portions of the day are expected, with a mandatory driving assessment at start. Pay and shift details follow the rate card on application.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and carry up to 16 kg daily.
• Flexible to work shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, with walking as part of the job.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Provide friendly service and act as the face of Royal Mail in the community.
