Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You will be driving a Royal Mail van and delivering letters and parcels, with parts of the route completed on foot.

The role requires walking, vehicle use, and delivering items safely in all weather. Shifts vary and offers include competitive pay and the opportunity to serve the community.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van, and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you need to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a Royal Mail round, driving a delivery van and delivering on foot where required.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and certain items per business standards.
