Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van across your delivery area, deliver letters and parcels come rain or shine, and greet customers as the face of the service.

A manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, you should be fit to walk and carry 16 kg mailbags, and be flexible to varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive the delivery route and complete parts of the route on foot, ensuring items reach their destination safely.
