Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, and you’ll help keep the country moving.

Shifts can vary, and you’ll need to be adaptable at short notice. Shifts include Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Late and Night with pay rates from £13.69 to £16.44 per hour.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk up to 20,000 steps a day and handle a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot in your community.
• Be the face of Royal Mail, ensuring items reach their destination safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items per standards.
