Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, with routes that involve both driving and walking.

Competitive pay per shift is offered across Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Late and Night shifts, with driving assessment on start. This role suits active team players seeking flexible, community-focused work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, with some parts of the route completed on foot.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail business standards.
• Maintain high levels of service and adapt to daily changes while delivering outdoors.
