Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels in your community, combining driving a Royal Mail van with walking parts of your route to provide excellent service.

Shifts vary and pay is competitive, with rates from £13.69 to £16.44 per hour depending on the shift. A full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and fitness to walk up to 20,000 steps daily are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; candidates must be flexible and able to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, deliver letters and parcels across your route.
• Occasionally handle election materials and other items per Royal Mail standards.
• Maintain high service levels and ensure safe, secure deliveries.
