Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels in your local community, combining driving with walking parts of your route.

Roles offer a range of shifts with pay rates from £13.69 to £16.44 per hour depending on start time, with potential for permanent opportunities. A driving licence and fitness to walk long distances are essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; team players needed to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your route.
• Securely deliver all items and handle election materials per standards.
• Represent Royal Mail in the community and provide excellent service.
