Job summary

KIMS Hospital is seeking an experienced Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join our theatres team on flexible Bank shifts. The role is suited to registered practitioners (Nurse or ODP) with recovery or scrub experience, offering ongoing professional development in a clinical perioperative environment.

You will provide high-quality, safe care to patients recovering from anaesthesia, collaborate with Sterile Services, Wards and Imaging, and contribute to a compassionate, compliant, patient-centered

Qualifications

Experience in recovery or scrub roles in a theatre environment.
Registered practitioner status (Nurse or ODP) is preferred.
Strong communication with multi-department teams.

Responsibilities

Work primarily as a recovery and scrub practitioner.
Assess patient care requirements independently and act as a resource for other staff.
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth patient care.
Ensure patients' comfort, dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.
Ensure that your own practice and the practice of others is within an ethical and legal framework.
