Job summary

KIMS Hospital Ltd in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner for flexible Bank shifts in our Theatres team. You will work primarily across recovery and scrub, delivering high-quality perioperative care to patients recovering from anaesthesia.

The role requires a registered practitioner (RN or ODP) with experience in recovery and/or scrub in an acute setting. You’ll contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment and develop professionally within our theatre services.

Qualifications

• Be a registered Practitioner (RN or ODP).
• Have post-registration clinical experience as a recovery and/or scrub theatre practitioner in an acute hospital setting.
• Know how clinical governance applies to perioperative care and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily as a recovery and scrub practitioner.
• Assess patient care requirements independently and act as a resource for other staff; implement patient care and evaluate outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with Sterile Services, Wards, Imaging to ensure smooth patient care.
• Ensure patients? comfort, dignity and privacy at all times.
• Ensure that your practice and that of others is within an ethical and legal framework.
