Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking Nursery Practitioners for flexible bank shifts in Shipston-on-Stour. You will support children across learning activities, daily routines and play, with shifts running from 8am to 6pm to fit your availability.

The role requires a genuine passion for working with young children, reliability and good communication. A Level 2/3 childcare qualification is desirable, but all enthusiastic applicants are welcome to apply.

Location: Shipston-on-Stour

Salary: £15- £16 per hour

Hours: Flexible Hours between 8am - 6pm

Contract: Flexible Bank Staff

Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle but want to still support in childcare as much as possible?

I am supporting a wonderful nursery, who are in need of caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly team. They have flexibility to work around a week;y rota, whereby you will be able to pick up as many shifts as your availability allows. The nursery are keen to build a pool of familiar faces, and create a good close knit team of staff to fill these weekly rotas.

You'll play a vital role in supporting our nursery whenever extra help is needed, creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. These shifts can start at 8am and the latest shift would be 6pm, with rota times varying between this.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting children in their learning, development, and daily routines.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Helping to create fun, engaging activities that encourage curiosity and confidence.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Working as part of a supportive and passionate nursery team.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• A positive, friendly, and caring attitude.
• Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant childcare qualification is desirable (Level 2 or Level 3), but we also welcome applications from experienced unqualified practitioners, students, or those currently working towards a childcare qualification.
