TeacherActive Limited is looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Bank Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly team in Shipston-on-Stour. As a bank staff member, you'll work flexibly to cover shifts between 8am and 6pm, helping children learn, play and thrive.

We offer flexible hours, competitive hourly pay of £14.25–£16, ongoing training and opportunities to gain experience across age groups. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the placement process, and we value safety, teamwork

Qualifications

• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

• A childcare qualification is desirable but not required.

We're looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Bank Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly team who are needing support weekly from a reliable and proactive team of bank staff. As a bank staff member, you'll play a vital role in supporting our nursery whenever extra help is needed, creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. The nursery are looking to build a group of regular bank staff who they can use weekly to support with extra hours. These shifts can start as early as 8am and the latest shift would be 6pm, with rota times varying between this.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting children in their learning, development, and daily routines.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Helping to create fun, engaging activities that encourage curiosity and confidence.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Working as part of a supportive and passionate nursery team.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• A positive, friendly, and caring attitude.
• Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant childcare qualification is desirable (Level 2 or Level 3), but we also welcome applications from experienced unqualified practitioners, students, or those currently working towards a childcare qualification.
