Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality early years care across local nurseries. You’ll support children’s development, safety and learning through play, and contribute to a compassionate team committed to making a difference.

Role offers flexible shifts (full-time or part-time) with weekly pay and access to industry-leading training, including NVQ options, and benefits such as Blue Light Card discounts. Travel to multiple local locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education is essential.
• Good standard of English and clear enhanced DBS (upon registration).

Responsibilities

• Assisting in daily care, supervision and wellbeing of children.
• Supporting planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
• Maintaining a clean, safe environment meeting health and safety standards.
• Championing nursery values to create a nurturing atmosphere.
• Providing guidance and supporting team members to ensure best practice.
