Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality care in a nursery setting across the local area. You will cover short or longer-term placements, support children's development, ensure safety, and foster learning through play.

We offer flexible shifts (full-time or part-time), weekly pay (£13.85–£14.75 per hour), and training aligned with the Care Certificate. DBS process available upon registration.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education is essential.
• Good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the daily care, supervision, and wellbeing of children within the nursery setting.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Championing the nursery’s values and ethos to create a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children.
• Providing guidance and support to fellow team members, helping to lead by example and ensure best practice across the nursery.

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations within your local area.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Educationis essential.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
