Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality early years care across local nurseries. You’ll support children’s development, safety and learning through play, and contribute to a compassionate team committed to making a difference.

Role offers flexible shifts (full-time or part-time) with weekly pay and access to industry-leading training, including NVQ options, and benefits such as Blue Light Card discounts. Travel to multiple local locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education is essential.
• Good standard of English and clear enhanced DBS (upon registration).

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nursery Practitioner with Nurseplus, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality early years care and education. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the daily care, supervision, and wellbeing of children within the nursery setting.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Championing the nursery’s values and ethos to create a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children.
• Providing guidance and support to fellow team members, helping to lead by example and ensure best practice across the nursery.

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations within your local area.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Educationis essential.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
