Nurseplus is seeking a Nursery Assistant to provide high-quality care in a nursery setting across the local area. You will cover short or long-term placements, support children's development, ensure safety, and promote learning through play, becoming part of a compassionate team.

The role offers flexible shifts (full-time, part-time, days, nights, weekends), weekly pay, paid training aligned with Care Certificate standards, and opportunities for NVQ qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily schedule and assist with routine tasks such as feeding, toilet breaks, rest time.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Collaborate with team to plan and implement educational activities.
