Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd in Taunton is seeking a Nursery Assistant to cover day-to-day placements across local nurseries, supporting children's development and safety through play. You will help with daily routines, plan simple activities, and work as part of a caring team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Diploma Level 2/3 is desirable.
• Experience in nursery/childcare.
• Good English communication.
• Clear enhanced DBS (required after registration).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily schedule and routine tasks (feeding, toilet, rest).
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Plan and implement development activities with the team.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and conduct risk assessments.
• Maintain records and contribute to learning through play.
