Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to provide high-quality early years care across local nurseries. You will cover shifts for short or long placements, supporting children's development and safety through play.

You’ll be part of a compassionate team, with opportunities for funded qualifications and ongoing development, including NVQ levels 2 and 3, and access to a Blue Light Card and discounts.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nursery Practitioner with Nurseplus, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality early years care and education. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the daily care, supervision, and wellbeing of children within the nursery setting.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Championing the nursery’s values and ethos to create a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children.
• Providing guidance and support to fellow team members, helping to lead by example and ensure best practice across the nursery.

What We’re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• Willing to travel to multiple locations within your local area.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Educationis essential.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
