Job summary

Aspire People are delighted to be working with a range of reputable nursery settings in Tamworth, seeking enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners. You will support children aged 0-5, delivering high-quality care and education within a safe, nurturing environment as part of a supportive team.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts to fit your availability. Requirements include Level 2/3 in Early Years, EYFS knowledge, caring and proactive attitude;

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
• Paediatric First Aid - desirable.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide high-quality care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Create engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Plan and participate in activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Recognise and respond to each child's individual needs, interests and stage of development.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote learning and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.
