CrossReach is seeking a Relief Support Worker to provide flexible, compassionate support across our mental health service. You will help adults experiencing mental health challenges with practical and emotional support to promote wellbeing, recovery, and independence.

As a relief worker, you’ll cover shifts as needed, joining established teams with our values-led approach. Full training is provided, and experience in care is welcome but not essential.

Qualifikationen

• Candidates should demonstrate a caring, respectful approach.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Calm, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Experience in care or mental health is welcome but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Providing person-centred support based on individual needs and recovery goals
• Assisting with everyday activities while encouraging choice and independence
• Supporting people to access their local community and social networks
• Observing and sharing any changes in wellbeing with the wider team
• Working alongside colleagues, professionals, and families when required
• Completing clear records and following organisational policies and procedures
