Job summary

N Family Club’s Winchester nursery is seeking a Flexi Kitchen Assistant to help our chef run a state‑of‑the‑art kitchen. You will assist with cooking fresh meals for children, handle crockery and equipment cleaning, and follow our nutritionally designed recipes to meet kids’ dietary needs.

You’ll support dietary accommodations, manage daily kitchen tasks, and help with ordering and stock rotation. A 0‑hour casual contract with flexible shifts offers great variety and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

Experience in a commercial or nursery kitchen.
Good knowledge of food allergens and child nutrition.
Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willing to complete during onboarding).
Passion for cooking and nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

Assist with cooking fresh and inspiring food for children.
Wash pots and ensure crockery and equipment are cleaned and sterilised.
Follow nutritionist-designed recipes to ensure vitamins and nutrients are met.
Support chef to cater for dietary needs and allergies, avoiding cross-contamination.
Prepare a daily lunch and smoothie for the nursery team with different dietary needs.
Complete kitchen paperwork and daily due diligence diary routines.
