Job summary

N Family Club in Guildford is seeking a Flexi Kitchen Assistant to help run the nursey kitchen and deliver nutritious meals for our children. You will support the chef, cover varied shifts, and help maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene and safety.

The role offers flexible casing on a 0-hour contract with opportunities to work across multiple nurseries. Training will be provided to ensure compliance with all policies and dietary guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen or nursery kitchen.
• Good knowledge of food allergens and child nutrition.
• Willingness to complete Food Hygiene level 2 during onboarding.
• Passion for cooking and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking fresh, nutritious meals for children.
• Pot-wash and ensure crockery and equipment are cleaned and sterilised.
• Follow nutritionist-designed recipes and matche nutrient requirements.
• Support chef in catering to dietary needs and cross-contamination policies.
• Prepare daily lunch and smoothies for nursery team.
