Job summary

N Family Club is seeking a Flexi Kitchen Assistant to support our nursery kitchen. You will help the chef create fresh, nutritious meals for children, handle cleaning and hygiene, and ensure dietary needs are met across age groups.

Based at Tunbridge Wells, you may cover other nurseries as needed. The role offers flexible, casual hours with weekly shift options and opportunities to grow with our kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial or nursery kitchen.
• Knowledge of food allergens and child nutrition desired.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred or willing to complete on onboarding.
• Passion for cooking and nutrition in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking fresh meals for nursery children.
• Pot-wash and ensure crockery and equipment are cleaned and sterilised.
• Follow nutritionist-designed recipes and meet dietary needs.
• Cater to allergies and dietary requirements, prevent cross-contamination.
• Prepare daily lunch and smoothie for the nursery team.
• Complete kitchen paperwork and due diligence diaries daily.
