Job summary

N Family Club is seeking a flexible Flexi Kitchen Assistant to join our state-of-the-art nursery kitchen. You will assist the chef, help prepare nutritious meals, manage daily lunch and smoothies, and cover shifts as needed across multiple nurseries in London.

We value enthusiasm, a strong interest in cooking, and the ability to work quickly during busy service times, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and food hygiene.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food allergens and child nutrition.
• Passion for food and nutrition with a culinary focus.
• Willingness to complete Food Hygiene Level 2 during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking fresh and nutritious meals for nursery children.
• Pot-wash and sanitize crockery and equipment.
• Follow nutritionist-designed recipes to ensure vitamin and nutrient intake.
• Support chef in catering to dietary needs and allergies.
• Prepare daily lunch and drinks for nursery staff.
• Complete kitchen paperwork and daily hygiene checks.
• Order food supplies and manage stock rotation.
• Adhere to H&S policies and maintain hygiene standards.
