Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the systems team, providing on-site resolution and helpdesk support for Information Systems in Children’s and Adults Services. You will work closely with the wider organisation and external partners to improve existing systems.

Join a team undergoing development to better meet department needs, with a focus on ensuring training, advice and support are delivered effectively while liaising with ICT and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant field and minimum Grade C/4 in Maths and English GCSE.
• Experience with information management and IT support is desirable.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with ICT, 3rd party software suppliers and social care providers.
• Ensure advice, training and support is provided effectively and efficiently.
