Kier Group in Stansted, Essex is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team. You will be responsible for commercial management across projects, maximizing profitability and building strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.

The role also involves measuring and valuing work, invoicing, and ensuring payments to suppliers while mitigating contractual and commercial risks. We value collaboration and diverse perspectives in our team environment.

Formación

• Clear communication with multidisciplinary teams, clients and supply chains.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency using IT packages including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin on assigned projects.
• Appointing contractors and subcontractors, and placing orders for materials and plant.
• Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and the wider supply chain.
• Identifying contractual and commercial risks and proposing ways to mitigate them.
