Job summary

Based in Cardiff, the role focuses on managing commercial resources to maximise margin on regional projects across education, health, defence and more. You will lead commercial staff, negotiate variations, and ensure delivery of projects safely, on time and to quality. Strong communication, organisational skills, and IT proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial resources to maximise gross margin through contract placement and control.
• Negotiate project variations to support budgeted profitability with customers and suppliers.
• Measure and value work to support invoicing and cash flow management.
• Lead and motivate the project's commercial staff and foster cross‑functional collaboration.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors and subcontractors while assessing risks.
