Job summary

Kier Group plc. in Central London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on major projects and drive value across the contract team.

You will prepare forecasts, cost/value reports and ensure rigorous financial controls while supporting a collaborative, flexible work environment. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent experience, with proven senior-level experience, strong IT skills (Excel) and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Holder of a degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
• Confident IT skills, including MS Office and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial insights, including forecasts for financial and contractual performance.
• Prepare monthly cost/value reports and analyse results with the contract team.
• Produce comprehensive commercial reports and review outcomes with the team.
• Carry out physical measurements and agree with clients and subcontractors.
• Manage certification and payment of subcontractor accounts against forecasts.

Job Details

Location: Central London
Contract: Full Time, Permanent - Flexible and part-time hours available upon request.

Your Responsibilities

• Providing commercial insights, including financial and contractual performance forecasts, to help exceed business targets and KPIs.
• Preparing monthly cost/value reports and collaborating with contract team members to analyze results and trends.
• Producing comprehensive commercial reports and reviewing outcomes with the team.
• Conducting physical measurements of works and reaching agreements with clients and subcontractors.
• Managing certification and payment of subcontractor accounts while monitoring them against forecasts.
