Havebury Housing Partnership is seeking a Locum Hostel Assistant at Lucy Adams House to help keep residents safe and support their journey toward independent living. The role involves monitoring access, assisting residents, and maintaining clean, secure premises.

This 0-hour contract offers flexible working patterns, with an hourly rate between £13.04 and £27.75. The post emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and a compassionate approach to vulnerable residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and staff, including monitoring the premises and controlling access.
• Monitor hostel rules and report incidents or breaches to the Management and Support Team.
• Assist in preparing rooms for new residents and maintaining good housekeeping standards.
• Support the development of residents' social and independent living skills in collaboration with the support team.
• Manage inventory and stock items through appropriate systems.
