Caritas Diocese of Salford is recruiting a Night Support Worker to provide overnight support at Morning Star hostel in Hulme. You will greet residents, ensure a safe, clean environment, and assist with signposting to support services.

The role requires experience in residential settings or with homelessness and adherence to safeguarding procedures. The post is full-time, on-site, offering a salary of £29,375 per annum, with enhanced DBS checks and Safer Recruitment practices.

Qualificações

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good time keeping and attendance.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to complete handover notes and checklists.
• Ability to diffuse confrontational situations calmly.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome residents and supervise overnight operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort of the building.
• Ensure safety, monitor CCTV, and carry out health and safety checks.
• Record daily handovers and log information for day staff.
• Ensure building security and report incidents to on‑call staff.
